美國湖泊與海洋學(xué)協(xié)會(ASLO)每年出版六期定期出版的《湖泊與海洋學(xué)》(L&O)。L&O出版關(guān)于湖沼學(xué)和海洋學(xué)各方面的原創(chuàng)文章。該雜志的統(tǒng)一主題是對水生生態(tài)系統(tǒng)的理解。提交的意見將根據(jù)其數(shù)據(jù)、解釋和想法的原創(chuàng)性進行判斷，并根據(jù)它們能在多大程度上推廣到所研究的特定水生生態(tài)系統(tǒng)之外。

Six regular issues of Limnology and Oceanography (L&O) are published each year by the American Society of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO). L&O publishes original articles about all aspects of limnology and oceanography. The journal's unifying theme is the understanding of aquatic ecosystems. Submissions are judged on the originality of their data, interpretations, and ideas, and on the degree to which they can be generalized beyond the particular aquatic ecosystem examined.
