《在體》是一本國際同行評議期刊，旨在比較生理學和病理學的框架下，匯集高質量的實驗和臨床生物醫學研究的原創作品和評論。該雜志的一個特別重點是出版下列方面的著作:(A)新診斷程序的實驗發展和應用;(b)新藥和藥物組合的藥理學和毒理學評價;(c)生物醫學研究模型的發展和特征。

IN VIVO is an international peer-reviewed journal designed to bring together original high quality works and reviews on experimental and clinical biomedical research within the frame of comparative physiology and pathology. A special focus of the journal is the publication of works on: (a) Experimental development and application of new diagnostic procedures, (b) Pharmacological and toxicological evaluation of new drugs and drug combinations, (c) Development and characterization of models of biomedical research.
