Russian Journal of General Chemistry a translation of Zhurnal Obshchei Khimii is a publication of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The journal covers fundamental problems in chemistry particularly synthesis and organic reactions. Articles deal with organometallic compounds biologically active substances and applied spectroscopy. A continuing series of papers reports progress in particular laboratories with special problems ? including reports on reactions of metal derivatives of compounds containing mobile hydrogen with a-halo epoxides synthesis and reactions of polyhydric alcohols and perchloric acid and its compounds as catalysts in organic synthesis. http://www.maik.rssi.ru/journals/genchem.htm.
