細(xì)胞生理學(xué)雜志在真核細(xì)胞生物學(xué)和生理學(xué)的所有領(lǐng)域發(fā)表了具有高生物學(xué)意義的報(bào)告，重點(diǎn)關(guān)注那些采用分子機(jī)制方法研究細(xì)胞生物學(xué)的文章。特別是該期刊積極鼓勵(lì)提交高利益論文，通過生長因子和細(xì)胞因子信號轉(zhuǎn)導(dǎo)生長因子細(xì)胞因子及其同源受體以及影響這些分子表達(dá)和功能的條件來研究生長和分化的調(diào)節(jié)。同樣，該期刊積極鼓勵(lì)提交手稿，探討細(xì)胞粘附分子對生長和分化的調(diào)節(jié)，以及這些過程與生長因子和細(xì)胞因子誘導(dǎo)的過程之間的相互作用。研究調(diào)節(jié)真核細(xì)胞中細(xì)胞周期進(jìn)程和相變的基因和過程以及確定細(xì)胞是否進(jìn)入靜止增殖或經(jīng)歷細(xì)胞凋亡的機(jī)制也受到歡迎。最后，研究區(qū)分癌細(xì)胞與正常細(xì)胞的基本變化，包括對致癌基因和腫瘤抑制基因的性質(zhì)和功能的研究，仍將是該雜志的主要興趣之一。

The Journal of Cellular Physiology publishes reports of high biological significance in all areas of eukaryotic cell biology and physiology focusing on those articles which adopt a molecular mechanistic approach to investigate cell biology. In particular the journal actively encourages the submission of high-interest papers investigating the regulation of growth and differentiation by growth factors and cytokines signal transduction by growth factors cytokines and their cognate receptors and the conditions which influence the expression and function these molecules. Similarly the journal actively encourages the submission of manuscripts exploring the regulation of growth and differentiation by cell adhesion molecules as well as the interplay between these processes and those induced by growth factors and cytokines. Studies on the genes and processes that regulate cell cycle progression and phase transition in eukaryotic cells and the mechanisms which determine whether cells enter quiescence proliferation or undergo apoptosis are also welcomed. Finally the investigation of the basic changes which differentiate cancer cells from normal cells including studies on the properties and functions of oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes will remain as one of the major interests of the Journal.
