《生態(tài)昆蟲(chóng)學(xué)》發(fā)表了關(guān)于昆蟲(chóng)生態(tài)學(xué)及相關(guān)無(wú)脊椎動(dòng)物類群的高質(zhì)量原創(chuàng)研究。我們的目標(biāo)是發(fā)表對(duì)廣大生態(tài)學(xué)家具有相當(dāng)大興趣的論文，這些生態(tài)學(xué)家的動(dòng)機(jī)是生態(tài)學(xué)或進(jìn)化論。手稿的適宜性通常在5天內(nèi)進(jìn)行評(píng)估。我們出版完整的原創(chuàng)文章以及評(píng)論，簡(jiǎn)短的交流，方法和自然歷史論文。在原創(chuàng)文章中，我們更傾向于測(cè)試特定假設(shè)，并且具有高度新穎性的文章。所有類別的目標(biāo)都是促進(jìn)生態(tài)昆蟲(chóng)學(xué)學(xué)科的創(chuàng)新貢獻(xiàn)。也歡迎評(píng)論文章，但請(qǐng)聯(lián)系編輯之前提交您的稿件。更多信息請(qǐng)參考我們的作者指南和提交網(wǎng)站。如果論文的內(nèi)容超出了期刊的范圍，我們可以建議作者將他們的論文提交給我們的姐妹期刊之一。例如，在害蟲(chóng)管理方面，沒(méi)有檢驗(yàn)更廣泛的生態(tài)理論的論文可能更適合于農(nóng)業(yè)和森林昆蟲(chóng)學(xué)，而主要側(cè)重于檢查昆蟲(chóng)分布和多樣性模式的論文可能更適合于昆蟲(chóng)保護(hù)和多樣性。

Ecological Entomology publishes top-quality original research on the ecology of insects and related invertebrate taxa. Our aim is to publish papers that will be of considerable interest to the wide community of ecologists who are motivated by ecological or evolutionary theory. The suitability of a manuscript will usually be assessed within 5 days. We publish full-length Original Articles as well as Reviews, Short Communications, Methods and Natural History papers. In Original Articles, we greatly prefer papers that test specific hypotheses and which have a high degree of novelty. All categories aim for innovative contributions that advance the subject of ecological entomology. Review articles are also welcomed but please contact one of the Editors before submitting your manuscript.Please refer to our Author Guidelines and submission site for more information.Where the content of the paper falls outside of the remit of the journal, we may recommend that authors submit their papers to one of our sister journals. For example, papers in pest management that do not test broader ecological theories may be more suited to Agricultural and Forest Entomology, and papers that focus primarily on examining patterns of insect distribution and diversity may be more suited to Insect Conservation and Diversity.
