Official Journal of the International Society of Technology Assessment in Health Care The use of technology in health care has created some of the major dilemmas in society today. The cost of new technologies the allocation of available resources and the ethical questions involved are topics of major concern to policy makers health care practitioners and researchers. The International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care serves as a forum for the wide range of professionals interested in the assessment of medical technology its consequences for patients and its impact on society.
