海岸工程是海岸工程師和科學(xué)家的國際媒介。它將實(shí)際應(yīng)用與現(xiàn)代技術(shù)和科學(xué)方法結(jié)合起來，如數(shù)學(xué)和數(shù)值建模、實(shí)驗(yàn)室和實(shí)地觀測及實(shí)驗(yàn)，出版關(guān)于沿海、海港和近海工程的下列方面的基礎(chǔ)研究和案例研究：波浪、海流和沉積物運(yùn)輸；沿海、河口和近海形態(tài)；沿海和海港結(jié)構(gòu)的技術(shù)和功能設(shè)計；沿海、海港和近海結(jié)構(gòu)的形態(tài)和環(huán)境影響。

Coastal Engineering is an international medium for coastal engineers and scientists. Combining practical applications with modern technological and scientific approaches, such as mathematical and numerical modelling, laboratory and field observations and experiments, it publishes fundamental studies as well as case studies on the following aspects of coastal, harbour and offshore engineering: waves, currents and sediment transport; coastal, estuarine and offshore morphology; technical and functional design of coastal and harbour structures; morphological and environmental impact of coastal, harbour and offshore structures.
