The journal is always delighted to receive original articles by international scientists on genomic selection, and any other topic related to breeding programmes, selection, quantitative genetics, genomics, diversity and evolution of domestic animals. Researchers, teachers, and the animal breeding industry will find the reports of interest. Book reviews appear in many issues.A supplemental series Advances in Animal Breeding and Genetics/Fortschritte in der Tierzüchtung und Züchtungsbiologie is published at irregular intervals.Fields of interest: Theoretical and applied animal breeding and related fields.
