WJSC是一本高質量的、同行評議的、開放獲取的期刊。WJSC的主要任務是在干細胞領域快速發表高質量的原創文章、評論、社論和病例報告。為了促進富有成效的學術交流，WJSC的同行評審過程是透明的;為此，所有出版的稿件都附有匿名審稿人的評論以及作者的回復。WJSC的主要目標是改進診斷、治療和預防模式以及臨床醫生的技能，并指導干細胞的臨床實踐。

The WJSC is a high-quality, peer reviewed, open-access journal. The primary task of WJSC is to rapidly publish high-quality original articles, reviews, editorials, and case reports in the field of stem cells. In order to promote productive academic communication, the peer review process for the WJSC is transparent; to this end, all published manuscripts are accompanied by the anonymized reviewers’ comments as well as the authors’ responses. The primary aims of the WJSC are to improve diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive modalities and the skills of clinicians and to guide clinical practice in stem cells.
