This journal provides a distinctive European perspective on the theory and practice of information systems, benefiting a global audience. Emphasizing the exchange of ideas between academics and practitioners, it provides a critical view of technology, development, implementation, strategy, management and policy issues.More than 25 years in publication, the European Journal of Information Systems presents first-rate research articles by scholars, as well as case studies and reflective observations by working information systems experts. This mix of contributions between researchers and professionals helps a broad readership stay informed of developments in this wide-ranging, fast moving field.Recently published articles include an exploratory study of the susceptibility of individuals to 'phishing'; a research essay on crowdsourcing of information systems research, and a study that explains the relationship between trust, distrust, and ambivalence in online transaction relationships using polynomial regression analysis and response surface analysis.
