全球水產養殖的發展已導致預測，水產養殖生產將在本世紀超過野生漁業，成為人類魚類蛋白質的主要來源。研究養殖系統與自然環境之間的相互作用對分析和管理水產養殖的環境影響具有重要意義，反之亦然。水產養殖環境相互作用將作為這些主題的全球論壇。

The development of aquaculture worldwide has led to projections that aquacultural production will overtake that of wild fisheries in the course of this century as the major source of fish protein for humans. Studies on the interactions between culture systems and natural environments are important for analyzing and managing the environmental effects of aquaculture and vice versa. Aquaculture Environment Interactions will serve as a worldwide forum for these topics.
