工業管理與數據系統（IMDS）側重于處理操作管理與信息系統之間的接口問題。IMDS本質上是跨學科的，為研究人員和從業者提供必要的信息，使他們能夠探索新技術的潛力，并將其應用于管理活動的各個方面，如市場營銷、管理信息系統、運營管理、業務策略、創新、組織行為、業務流程管理和供應鏈管理。IMDS的主要目標是：提供運營管理和信息系統領域的跨學科研究。研究企業信息系統開發和使用的不同范圍。提高對新技術和相關概念及其在業務中的影響的認識。傳播改進運營管理實踐的知識，提高支持健全管理決策所需的理論基礎。IMDS的范圍涵蓋了運營管理和信息系統研究的各個方面，主題包括但不限于以下：大數據研究數據分析電子商務生產計劃與調度物流與供應鏈管理新技術驗收與擴散新工業產品和工藝的營銷可持續供應鏈管理綠色信息系統IS戰略知識管理創新管理性能測量企業中的社交媒體

Industrial Management & Data Systems (IMDS) focuses on topics treating the interface between operations management and information systems. IMDS is interdisciplinary in nature and serves researchers and practitioners the necessary information to enable them to explore and apply the potential of new technologies to all aspects of management activities such as marketing, management information systems, operations management, business strategy, innovation, organization behaviour, business process management and supply chain management. The major aims of IMDS are:To provide cross-disciplinary research in the areas of operations management and information systems.To study different range of information systems development and usage in businesses.Promotes awareness of new technology and related concepts and their implications in business.Disseminate knowledge for improving operations management practice and to improve the theoretical base necessary for supporting sound management decisions.The scope of IMDS cover all aspects of areas that integrates both operations management and information systems research, and topics include but not limited to, are listed below:Big Data researchData analyticsE-businessProduction planning and schedulingLogistics and supply chain managementNew technology acceptance and diffusionMarketing of new industrial products and processesSustainable supply chain managementGreen information systemsIS strategiesKnowledge managementInnovation managementPerformance measurementSocial media in businesses
