《力學檔案》是1949年創辦的一份國際期刊，它為固體、流體和離散系統力學的原始研究提供了一個論壇，包括解決力學問題的數學方法的發展。該雜志涵蓋了該領域的各個方面，重點是：材料力學：彈性、塑性、時變現象、相變、損傷、斷裂；物理與實驗基礎、微觀力學、熱力學、不穩定性；連續介質力學的方法和問題：一般理論和新應用，熱力學，結構分析，多孔介質，接觸問題；材料系統動力學；流體流動和與固體的相互作用。在檔案館發表的論文應包含有關上述機械問題的理論、實驗或數值方面的原始貢獻。

Archives of Mechanics, a refereed international journal founded in 1949, provides a forum for original research on mechanics of solids, fluids and discrete systems, including the development of mathematical methods for solving mechanical problems. The journal encompasses all aspects of the field, with the emphasis placed on:mechanics of materials: elasticity, plasticity, time-dependent phenomena, phase transformation, damage, fracture; physical and experimental foundations, micromechanics, thermodynamics, instabilities;methods and problems in continuum mechanics: general theory and novel applications, thermomechanics, structural analysis, porous media, contact problems;dynamics of material systems;fluid flows and interactions with solids.Papers published in the Archives should contain original contributions dealing with theoretical, experimental, or numerical aspects of mechanical problems listed above.
