《浮游生物研究雜志》是一個發(fā)表論文的論壇，這些論文極大地促進了浮游生物研究領(lǐng)域的發(fā)展，特別是我們對浮游生物在生態(tài)系統(tǒng)動力學、生態(tài)學和進化中更廣泛作用的理解。假設(shè)驅(qū)動的工作尤其受歡迎。區(qū)域特定的研究結(jié)果應該放在促進科學理解的廣泛的一般背景下。特別鼓勵采用跨學科方法進行調(diào)查。論文必須引起廣大浮游生物研究者的興趣。JPR致力于出版高質(zhì)量的科學論文，快速出版，高標準的技術(shù)展示。

The Journal of Plankton Research is a forum for papers that significantly advance the field of plankton research, and in particular our understanding of the wider role of plankton in ecosystem dynamics, ecology and evolution. Hypothesis-driven work is particularly welcome. Region-specific findings should be set in a broad general context that advances scientific understanding. Investigations carried out using interdisciplinary methods are particularly encouraged. Papers must be of interest to our broad readership of plankton researchers. JPR seeks to publish the highest quality scientific papers, with rapid publication, and with high standards of technical presentation.
