《沖擊與振動》出版有關沖擊與振動的各個方面的論文，特別是與民用、機械和航空航天工程應用以及運輸、材料和地球科學有關的論文。論文可以是理論性的，也可以是實驗性的，可以是基礎性的，也可以是高度實用的。主題領域包括（但不限于）：沖擊和振動測量、測試和控制沖擊、地震、爆炸和爆炸測量數據采集與處理沖擊與振動理論與建模振動狀態監測模態測試技術結構健康監測沖擊硬化流體-結構相互作用噪聲產生、控制、阻尼和隔離除了最初的研究，沖擊和振動還出版了重點評論文章，這些文章審查了技術的現狀，確定了新的趨勢，并為發展領域提出了未來的方向。

Shock and Vibration publishes papers on all aspects of shock and vibration, especially in relation to civil, mechanical and aerospace engineering applications, as well as transport, materials and geoscience.
