細胞移植發表了關于細胞移植及其在人類疾病中的應用的原創、同行評審的研究和評論文章。為確保移植各領域的高質量貢獻，分別設立了部門編輯和編輯委員會。文章涉及廣泛的主題，包括生理學、醫學、臨床前、組織工程和面向設備的神經系統移植、內分泌、生長因子分泌、骨髓、上皮、內皮和基因工程細胞等方面�；�礎臨床研究和免疫學研究論文也有特色。為了全面報道這一革命性領域，細胞移植將報告細胞移植的相關技術進展和倫理和監管方面的考慮。自2009年以來，細胞移植一直免費閱讀。

Cell Transplantation publishes original, peer-reviewed research and review articles on the subject of cell transplantation and its application to human diseases. To ensure high-quality contributions from all areas of transplantation, separate section editors and editorial boards have been established. Articles deal with a wide range of topics including physiological, medical, preclinical, tissue engineering, and device-oriented aspects of transplantation of nervous system, endocrine, growth factor-secreting, bone marrow, epithelial, endothelial, and genetically engineered cells, among others. Basic clinical studies and immunological research papers are also featured. To provide complete coverage of this revolutionary field, Cell Transplantation will report on relevant technological advances and ethical and regulatory considerations of cell transplants. Cell Transplantation has been free to read since 2009.
