《植物生理學(xué)與生物化學(xué)》以不同層次的整合(分子、亞細(xì)胞、細(xì)胞、器官、整株植物、環(huán)境)出版了植物生理學(xué)(生物化學(xué)、生理學(xué)、結(jié)構(gòu)、遺傳學(xué)、植物與微生物相互作用等)各個(gè)領(lǐng)域的原始理論、實(shí)驗(yàn)和技術(shù)貢獻(xiàn)。發(fā)表在雜志上的觀點(diǎn)是作者的唯一責(zé)任，出版并不意味著編輯的同意。未與生物化學(xué)分析和/或植物生理過(guò)程的實(shí)際測(cè)量相結(jié)合的分子遺傳學(xué)和/或基因表達(dá)數(shù)據(jù)的手稿不適合用于PPB。同樣，在植物生理和/或生物化學(xué)過(guò)程中沒(méi)有產(chǎn)生新的、基本的見(jiàn)解的應(yīng)用農(nóng)藝研究也不適合在PPB上發(fā)表。植物生理學(xué)和生物化學(xué)發(fā)表幾種類型的文章:評(píng)論、論文和短文。評(píng)論文章要么由編輯邀請(qǐng)，要么由作者提出，由編輯事先同意。評(píng)審不應(yīng)超過(guò)40個(gè)打字頁(yè)數(shù)，短文不應(yīng)超過(guò)8個(gè)打字頁(yè)數(shù)。植物生理學(xué)和生物化學(xué)的基本特征仍然是期刊的原始結(jié)果。

Plant Physiology and Biochemistry publishes original theoretical, experimental and technical contributions in the various fields of plant physiology (biochemistry, physiology, structure, genetics, plant-microbe interactions, etc.) at diverse levels of integration (molecular, subcellular, cellular, organ, whole plant, environmental). Opinions expressed in the journal are the sole responsibility of the authors and publication does not imply the editors' agreement.Manuscripts describing molecular-genetic and/or gene expression data that are not integrated with biochemical analysis and/or actual measurements of plant physiological processes are not suitable for PPB. Similarly, applied agronomic studies that generate no new, fundamental insights in plant physiological and/or biochemical processes are not suitable for publication in PPB.Plant Physiology and Biochemistry publishes several types of articles: Reviews, Papers and Short Papers. Articles for Reviews are either invited by the editor or proposed by the authors for the editor's prior agreement. Reviews should not exceed 40 typewritten pages and Short Papers no more than approximately 8 typewritten pages. The fundamental character of Plant Physiology and Biochemistry remains that of a journal for original results.
