Now in its seventh year, Neural Computation has established itself as the leading journal for a growing community of scientists who are interested in exploring the computational principles of the brain. For researchers looking at the twin scientific and engineering challenges of understanding the brain, and building computers, it highlights common problems and techniques in modeling the brain, and in the design and construction of neurally inspired information processing systems. Carefully reviewed by a distinguished editorial board, Neural Computation publishes short communications, long articles and timely reviews on the interplay between experimental data, computional models, and theoretical analysis at all levels in the brain, from the molecular to the systems levels.
