《新化學雜志》是一份基礎廣泛的初級期刊，涵蓋了化學的所有分支及其分支學科。每月出版，包含完整的研究文章和信件。直到最近，這本由法國國家科學研究中心擁有的聲譽良好的雜志，還是由Gauthier-Villars出版的，但是在1998年1月，國家科學研究中心和RSC聯合出版。所有論文都由國際評審人員進行同行評審，以確保評審過程迅速且達到最高標準。這種國際觀點反映在國際編輯委員會、咨詢委員會和助理編輯中。

The New Journal of Chemistry is a broad-based primary journal encompassing all branches of chemistry and its sub-disciplines. Published monthly, it contains full research articles and letters. Until recently this well-established journal, owned by the CNRS of France, was published by Gauthier-Villars but in January 1998 the CNRS and the RSC joined forces to co-publish. All papers are peer reviewed by international referees selected to ensure that this is done rapidly and to the highest standards. This international outlook is reflected in the international Editorial Board, Advisory Board and Associate Editors.
